Welcome to the Feria del Mole sponsor acknowledgment guidelines. This document is designed to assist participants in recognizing sponsors effectively.

Feria del Mole is a vibrant food festival held in Mexico City, celebrating the rich tradition of mole. Our event features a diverse array of vendors, tasting maps, and a unique mole cast, all inspired by the celebrated Feria de los Moles.

To ensure proper recognition of our sponsors, please follow these guidelines:

By adhering to these guidelines, we can create a cohesive and respectful environment that honors our sponsors and enhances the overall festival experience.

Putting Sponsor Credits into Practice

Good acknowledgment is less about how often a sponsor's name appears and more about how clearly and fairly it is presented. The notes below cover the practical details that tend to cause confusion once vendors start preparing signage, menus and social posts.

Wording and accuracy

Always use the sponsor's name exactly as they provide it, including accents, capitalisation and any legal suffix they request. A short, consistent credit line works best, for example "Supported by [Sponsor Name]" or "Con el apoyo de [Sponsor Name]" for Spanish-language materials. Many visitors read both languages, so bilingual credits are a courteous choice. Avoid wording that suggests a sponsor made or endorses a particular mole unless that has been agreed in writing.

Logo placement and sizing

Keep logos in their original proportions and colours, and leave clear space around them so they are not crowded by prices or dish names. When several sponsors appear together, group them in one tidy band rather than scattering them across a banner. If you only have a low-resolution file, ask for a better version rather than stretching an image that will look blurred at booth size.

At the booth

Sponsor signage should never block the view of the cooking area, ingredient lists or allergen information. Visitors come to taste, compare and learn about regional styles, from deep, chilli-rich mole negro to lighter green moles, so the food and the vendor's own story should stay at the centre. A modest sponsor panel at eye level is usually more effective than oversized branding.

Digital and printed maps

When sponsors are credited on tasting maps, mark their contribution with a simple symbol and a key rather than filling the map with logos. This keeps routes readable for people moving between stalls. You can see how the festival layout is organised on the map page, and vendor listings are available on the vendors page.

Checking before you publish

  • Confirm the sponsor has approved the logo file and credit line.
  • Proofread names in every language version.
  • Make sure credits match across print, booth signage and social media.
